About us
Over the past few years, we have established ourselves as the best MMA, self-defense and Brazilian Jiu-jitsu gym in Kolkata and West Bengal. Offering full time training to fighters, hobbyists, women, kids and working professionals, our gym has produced some of the finest talent from the city who have shown incredible performances across state, national, international level competitions both at the pro and amateur levels.
We offer customized personal training as well as training for martial arts classes in schools and colleges. We also partner with organizations to help bring customized self defence workshops and programs that actually work.
Training Programs
Kickboxing/Muay Thai
Mixed martial arts (MMA) is a full-contact combat sport that allows a wide variety of fighting techniques and skills from a mixture of other combat sports to be used in competition. The rules allow usage of both striking and grappling techniques while standing and on the ground. MMA is a high intensity sport providing complete stamina, strength and conditioning that is suitable both for fitness and self-defense.
Brazilian Jiu-jitsu
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a predominantly ground-based martial art that utilizes principles of leverage, angles, pressure, and timing, along with an understanding of human anatomy, to achieve a non-violent submission of an opponent. Unlike other martial arts that emphasize strikes and kicks, jiu jitsu focuses on close-contact grappling techniques, including chokes and joint manipulations. With a history of being used very efficiently and dominatingly in MMA, the art is a great fit for all age and fitness levels and is revolutionary for effective women's self-defense in the modern world.
Muay Thai kickboxing
Muay Thai, also known as Thai boxing, is a full-contact combat sport that originated in Thailand over 800 years ago. A stand-up combat sport that uses the body's eight limbs to strike an opponent with punches, kicks, elbows, and knees. It's known as the "Art of eight limbs". Developed as a self-defense martial art so warriors wouldn't be defenseless if they lost their weapons in battle. Fighters train to use their entire body as a weapon, developing strength, speed, and agility. They practice on heavy bags and pads, and also spar with other fighters.
Kids' Jiu-jitsu
Our specialized kids classes are designed to make the sessions fun while also empowering kids to be strong and learn to protect themselves. This program aims at making kids more confident about themselves as they grow up and develop a strong go-getter attitude that will simultaneously teach kids to self-defense, self control, self confidence, empathy, kindness, strength of character and strength of body. These sessions are geared towards kids between 5-12 years of age before they reach the skill level to join the adult classes.

While our team consists of a group of varied individuals with different martial arts backgrounds and lineages, we are currently affiliated with Professor Alexander Aguet of Carlos, Helio, George Gracie Garrage Jiu-jitsu.
